These fish twists are made from locally and responsibly fished shark skin that has been rolled up and wrapped in Australian caught mackerel jerky. Kind of like pigs in blankets, but fish.
Our fish twists are a highly palatable treat, making them a great choice when you need a high-value reward. They're small enough for cats, and suitable for dogs of all ages, including puppies and old blokes that are missing a few pegs.
The abrasiveness of dried fish skin provides a beneficial texture for dental health, while the chewiness engages their brain and promotes calm, by lighting up their reward centres. Mackerel is brimming with omega-3 fatty acids to support their brain and joint health.
Each twist is roughly 15-20cm long.
The fish used in these treats is sourced in QLD, meaning it is 100% human-grade and fished sustainably in line with Australian Fisheries Management Authority regulations. The shark used is either North Queensland Blacktip or Australian Gummy Shark, both of which are considered “least concern” by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).
