Our signature Bush Chook oil is a nutrient dense functional oil that has been studied for its potent anti-inflammatory qualities, making it the perfect addition to support the overall health and longevity of your pet.
In Aboriginal lore, emu oil is used as a transdermal pain reliever for the musculoskeletal system, sort of like First Nation's Voltaren gel. It can also be used as a food-safe skin salve, to help minor wounds heal and sooth inflammatory skin conditions, or as a natural insect repellant.
This hypoallergenic nutritional supplement contains 100% single origin emu oil, directly from the emu farm in Victoria. Emu oil is rich in monounsaturated fat, particularly oleic acid, an omega 9 that is associated with cardiovascular health. It contains smaller amounts of linoleic acid, an essential omega 6 fatty acid; and linolenic acid, an anti-inflammatory omega 3.
Emu oil is also a source of naturally occurring vitamins A, D3, and E. These essential vitamins play an important role in the health of the skin, joints, bones, teeth and eyes.
FEEDING GUIDE: give dogs and cats 2 pump per 5kg of body weight, per day.
Each pump contain approximately 0.25ml of pure emu oil.
Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
Emu oil will solidify in cooler weather, similar to coconut oil. If you place the bottle in some hot water for a few minutes it will quickly melt. Wipe down the pump after each use to keep it clean, and feed the contents within 12 months of purchase.

Our emu oil is sourced from responsibly farmed emus in VIctoria. The oil is rendered on site, the same day the emus are humanely processed. It is packaged by our team in Melbourne, all in Primeseafe licenced facilities.
